  • What paint do you use?

    I mainly use student grade acrylic paints. Other paints you can use is craft paints and or any acrylic paints.

  • What brushes do you suggest?

    Synthetic hair brushes for oil and acrylic paint is what I mostly use. I also enjoy hard bristle brushes and sometimes use palette knifes.

  • What canvas do you suggest?

    In most of my instruction videos I use stretched canvas. I buy my canvas mostly from Opus and Michaels. I suggest any pre-gessoed canvas. You can paint on multimedia paper, wood, saw blades, rocks or any other surface you prefer.

FAQ - Thinkific

  • How do I access my courses?

    Make sure to access all your enrolled courses and the membership content from the 'My Dashboard' page and not the 'All courses' page. If you are new to the membership, search for the START HERE course for information on how to get going and take full advantage of all the offerings of this membership!

  • How do I change my password if I have forgotten it?

    Select Sign In on the top right. On the login page, select Forgot Password. Enter the email address you used to create your site. Click Submit. Check your email inbox for a password reset email with further instructions.

  • How do I change my password while logged in?

    While logged in select 'My account' from the dropdown box that will appear when you click where you see your name. Click on Password. Enter your current password and enter your new password twice.

  • How do I cancel my subscription

    While logged in select 'My account' from the dropdown box that will appear when you click where you see your name on the top right hand side of the screen. Select Billing. You will be able to cancel the subscription from this screen.

  • How do I remove my credit card details from this account?

    While logged in select 'My account' from the dropdown box that will appear when you click where you see your name on the top right hand side of the screen. Select Billing. You will be able to delete your credit card details from this screen.

  • How long do I have access to the online classes?

    Being a Paint Night at Home member grants you access for the duration of your membership. If you purchase an easy, fun, step-by-step individual course, you will have access for 12 months unless otherwise specified. However, access to certain challenges may be limited in time as short at 30days.

    ZealousArt maintains this website, any courses offered and other linked and related sites (the “Site”) for the use of its customers, vendors, students, and other Site users (“Users”) upon agreement to the following terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site.

    Zealous Art provides various materials, information, quizzes, tests, questions, articles, news and other information on this and related sites and in courses offered through this site (the “Materials”). Zealous Art authorizes each User to view and download one copy of the Materials. (not videos) Materials may be downloaded and a maximum of one copy of the Materials may be printed provided that Users make no modifications to the Materials and you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original Materials on any copies of the Materials. Users may not modify the Materials at this Site in any way or reproduce, share or distribute them. Users will keep all Materials confidential, and will not sell, auction, loan, rent, give away, describe, summarize, or otherwise reveal the Materials or their contents, to any other person or entity. Any breach of these Terms of Use automatically terminates your authorized use of the Site.

    The Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the province of British Columbia, Canada.   • 5. Refund policy

    No refund will be given if more than 30% progress is reported on any course included in your membership and/or more than 30 minutes spend in the membership. You can cancel your subscription and will have access to the content until the end of your term, but no refund will be issues.

  • 6. Membership Cancellation policy.

    You can cancel at anytime and must be done from your account,, but should you want to avoid a charge you need to cancel a 48 hours before the next payment is due. Should you cancel the day a payment has gone down 50% of the subscription fee will be charged as an admin fee.

    When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“learner”) on our site or related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Email marketing: we may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.

    When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

    Our course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product/services to you. Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

  • Payment:

    If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.
