I'll guide you step by step
You only need a few basic art supplies
Keep it simple but for this one, you can bring out all the art supplies your heART desires.
I used acrylic paint – craft paints or student grade is perfect. Bring all your favourite colours! I used black and white, yellow, orange and a brown on this one.
3-4 different size brushes. I used several differnt size brushes, some hard bristles, some soft synthetic hair for acrylics. I also used acrylic pens and 'dotting tools' - the back end of the brush works great or anything you want to make marks with!!
Canvasses or mixed media paper - some people paint on rocks, saw blades and even furniture! I painted on a 16 x 20 stretched canvas
Water to clean brushes
Paper towels / paint cloth, a rag
Paint palette (paper plate will work)
Use what you have! improvise Get creative.
Remember this is fun art not fine art!
Make the painting your own, change up the colours, ad other elements! Have fun with it! Let your inner artist come out to play!
